Side panels
The tool panels on the left hold everything you add to a project: Media, Text, Effects, Filters, Transitions, Captions and Voice. Drag an item onto the timeline (or the canvas), or select a clip and click the item to apply it.
Media
The project's media bin: every file it may use, each one a file in the workspace's Drive (nothing is copied, so the same file in two projects is stored once).
Import
Import offers:
- Upload files: from your computer (video, audio, images). They go to the Drive first, then into the bin's open folder.
- Record voiceover: record from your microphone; Stop · 0:12 ends it.
- Add from drive: pick files already in the Drive.
You can also drop files straight onto the panel or the timeline. A full workspace imports nothing until you free space.
Find and sort
- Search media looks through every folder.
- Filter by All, Video, Image, Audio, Stickers, Compounds or Presets.
- Sort by Date added, Name or Duration; Grid view or List view.
- New folder, Rename folder, Delete folder (its media moves to the top).

Compounds, presets and adjustment layers
The bin's top lists the project's compounds and the workspace's presets. New adjustment layer adds a clip that applies its look to everything under it. See .
The workspace's storage meter sits at the bottom of the panel.

Voice

- Pick a voice (Play sample to hear it).
- Set Pitch and Speed.
- Type the Text. The cost shows as you type (12 credits / 500 chars).
- Turn on Add captions to caption it too.
- Press Generate voice: it lands at the playhead.
Saved voices keeps voices you named with Save voice, ready to reuse.

Why can't I import files?
